JUNIOR GOLF HUB JOINS FORCES WITH HURRICANE JUNIOR GOLF TOUR TO CREATE INNOVATIVE PARTNERSHIP FOR YOUNG GOLFERS
The Junior Golf Hub (JGH), the premier online community for junior golfers, announced that it is partnering with The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT), the largest junior “grassroots” golf tour in the world. The collaboration, to be known as the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour powered by Junior Golf Hub, is designed to help junior golfers realize their dreams of playing golf in college by connecting digitally on a unique network created exclusively for student-athletes, parents, and college golf coaches.
The two organizations plan to be fully integrated on or before January 1, 2019.
Junior Golf Hub’s Premium service, now included as part of Hurricane Tour’s membership, will allow HJGT members and their parents to access the industry’s most advanced, all-in-one suite of technology tools and education for the journey to college golf. Junior Golf Hub allows members to build a compelling profile to become a known entity to college golf coaches. The Hub also provides a gateway to explore college golf programs to find a right fit, an insider guide on the college golf recruiting process, a tournament finder and a calendar to plan a winning tournament schedule.
In addition, JGH and HJGT plan on creating a new tournament series with special features including enhanced opportunities for players to be recognized by college golf coaches, education on the journey to college golf, and skill testing to assess readiness for college golf. This will be accomplished with the JGH’s proprietary Player Development System (PDS), a science-based evaluation scoring system that gathers the hard data needed to determine whether an athlete is ready to progress to college golf.
“We are very excited to partner with the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour,” said Roger Knick, founder of the Junior Golf Hub. “We believe this partnership is at the forefront of the industry in terms of advancing junior golf and the JGH will provide the tools and education needed for Hurricane Tour members to reach their dreams of playing golf in college.”
“Playing golf in college is an important life decision that can be frustrating and complex, and junior golfers and parents often lack the knowledge and tools needed to guide them on the journey to the next level. Difficulties in navigating the process can make it hard to get recognized by college golf coaches and easy to make mistakes throughout the process. The JGH is the ideal resource to enable junior golfers to achieve their goals,” added Knick.
“This partnership is a massive, ground-breaking initiative for the HJGT and all of its worldwide members,” said Mario Conte, Executive Director and Founder of the HJGT. “What the HJGT and Junior Golf Hub will do together to bring the best resources to junior golfers will be second to none, period! My dream has always been to provide the best platform and to create a tour that has never been created before, and this partnership will be another step in that direction.”

About the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers with an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The Tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour.
