The flagship event takes place in November and will be attended by the top club owners in the region
The Asia Pacific Golf Summit is set to take place at the end of 2022, gathering together top club management and large golf corporation directors. It is the first time in its over twenty-year history that the event will take on a title sponsor, and has chosen Inrange® Golf – a market disruptor in the driving range space – as its partner of choice.
Mike Sebastian, the founder of the now 14-year event, is equally excited for the first in-person AGS for 3 years as he is about having Inrange® on board.
“Inrange® is the perfect partner for the summit this year. Every club and range facility in our golf-thriving region is talking about technology and how they can best make use of it to improve their bottom line. When you look at the results Inrange® has achieved at other facilities – we know they have the secret recipe.”
The decision to be involved in this event was something that Nick Longley, co-founder of Inrange® and who will be speaking at the event, could not pass up on.
“Inrange has a very healthy development pipeline in the South East Asian region, and we see this partnership with the summit as a further step in ensuring that great operators are exposed to the opportunity to gain a step change in their revenue lines through creating a great driving range experience. We are honored to be a part of this event”
The summit will be held in Vietnam, culminating in the Gala Awards ceremony at the multi-billion-dollar Hoiana Integrated Golf Resort in Hoi An, on November 3 2022.

About Inrange®
The Inrange® system consists of radar sensors placed in and around a driving range that create a series of interlocking radar fields. Once calibrated, they can determine the origin of each ball (which bay it was hit from), and track its entire flight, no matter how long or short, in real-time. The resulting data is relayed either to an in-bay touchscreen or via the cloud to the Inrange® app on the player’s mobile device.
Easily covering a range of 100 bays or more, these sensors can track dozens of balls hit simultaneously, each from a different origin, and provide detailed data on speed, trajectory, path, landing point and more, to within a yard. Unlike competitor’s systems, they are impervious to all ambient conditions such as darkness, rain, mist and audible noise.
Inrange® software provides a seamless, intuitive user-experience for the player, providing real-time feedback with pro-level data and analysis, accessible via the in-bay touchscreen or on the player’s own mobile device.
The Inrange®+ and Inrange®+Courses software enables facilities to turn standard practice bays into entertainment bays, with a variety of immersive, accessible gaming options and world-class courses to play on with family and friends.
