Michigan Golf Course Association Promotes Jada Paisley to Executive Director
Michigan Golf Course Association, the state’s association for the business of golf has promoted Jada Paisley.
Paisley was promoted to Executive Director this week and started her new duties as of September 1, 2018. The MGCA is the “voice of Michigan golf business” and Paisley will lead the group in advocacy, education and promotion of the industry.
Paisley has worked within the company for the last 11 years, starting out as membership coordinator and then being promoted to associate director two years ago.
“Jada’s service to our association has been exemplary and we are excited to have her take the lead. She is dedicated and knowledgeable and respected by the membership,” said Bill Fountain, president of the board of directors and managing partner at The Majestic Golf Course in Hartland.
Before coming to work at Michigan Golf Course Association, Paisley was sales manager at the Kellogg Center Hotel and Conference Center on the MSU campus. She graduated from MSU’s School of Hospitality Management and is a Certified Meeting Planner and a member of the Michigan Society of Association Executives.
“The golf industry in Michigan has a tremendous economic impact and I am thrilled to be part of it. I look forward to what we can accomplish in the coming years,” Paisley said.
The Michigan Golf Course Association was founded in 1976 and serves the golf course owners, operator and suppliers. The association also has several consumer products including a highly successful league program.
