Jan Stephenson’s Line of Wines Named GolfTalk Live July Product of the Month

Philadelphia, PA (July 2, 2019) – Over the years, the GolfTalk Live Product of the Month has highlighted a number of great products associated with golf. But none of them comes along with a personal appearance from a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame.

The July Product of the Month, featured on the GolfTalk Live website at www.golftalklive.net, has this unique double appeal.

The line of Jan Stephenson Wines burst unto the scene more than four years ago and has been gaining traction across the country. Part of the reason is that Stephenson, a three-time Major Champion on the LPGA Tour and recently inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame, often appears at clubs across the country to conduct a golf clinic and appear at a wine-tasting.

For those reasons, Jan Stephenson Wines have been selected as the Product of the Month for July on the award-winning and syndicated GolfTalk Live radio show.

One of those heralded personal appearances will take place on Saturday, July 20 at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township, New Jersey. The appearance will be part of an opportunity for the public to play in a charity golf tournament along with Stephenson, then stay for a cocktail reception that will feature a tasting of her wines, along with her new line of flavored rums.

“Jan is one of the LPGA’s greatest players and we’re looking forward to having her here to participate in a clinic, golf tournament and a reception that will feature a tasting of selections from the Jan Stephenson wine label and flavored rums,” said Chris Schiavone, managing partner of Forsgate Country Club. “This is a great opportunity for our members and the public to spend a day with Jan and celebrate her recent induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame.”

The club is offering non-members a limited number of playing spots in the tournament, as well as the reception only, and reservations are now being accepted.

There are two packages available for non-members: 1) The golf clinic, 18-hole tournament on the Banks Course, lunch, cocktail reception and tasting for $160.00 per person (plus tax); or 2) The reception only for $85.00 (plus tax). Net proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit Jan Stephenson’s Crossroads Foundation, which supports combat wounded, blind/disabled veterans and first responders.

“I have been doing more and more of these personal appearances associated with our line of wines and flavored rums,” explains Stephenson. “I really enjoy spending the day talking with the members and guests at the various clubs … talking about golf and, of course, the wine and rum.”
