LAKE PARK, FLORIDA – JumboMax®, the industry leader in grip fitting, today announced that major champion, former World No. 1, and 13-time PGA Tour winner Jason Day has officially joined Team JumboMax.
Day opened the 2026 PGA Tour season with a T2 finish at The American Express, leading the field in Strokes Gained Total. The performance marked a strong early result following his switch to JumboMax grips.
Day’s first experience with JumboMax came in a fitting with Avoda Golf, where he tested JumboMax’s wide range of grip sizes for the first time.

In Day’s testing, JumboMax’s JMX Zen Lite, which uses a pro-preferred rubber surface, stood out for its control and feel. Day saw the best performance and consistency with JumboMax’s Standard Jumbo (+1/8) size, which is considerably larger than the grips he was previously using but nowhere near as JumboMax’s largest sizes.

JMX Zen Lite leverages an UltraLite core to offset the grip weight increase that typically occurs as grip size is increased. The lightweight core construction allows golfers to increase grip size without meaningfully altering swing weight or timing. Joining The Team
Day joins a Team JumboMax staff that includes fellow major champions Bryson DeChambeau, Sergio Garcia, and Retief Goosen.
