BOSTON, Mass – New England dot Golf, a digital marketing platform that highlights the best of golf in New England and beyond, is pleased to announce that Jay Gearan has joined its team of golf writers.
Jay’s golf writing resume is impressive. He has been widely read in Yahoo Sports, Worcester Telegram and Gazette, Boston Globe, The Gardner News, The Associated press and more. The longtime sports columnist for The Gardner News and the Worcester T&G has also written a book titled “40 for 40: Forty Favorites from Forty Years of Sportswriting.”
Gearan, beginning in the early 1980s reporting on the Champions Tour, has also covered many PGA Tour events in the New England area as well as several Mass Golf championships in addition to writing about Central Mass high school golfers and championships.
