The world’s No. 1 ranked women’s golfer secures her first LPGA title in Thailand, making this victory a memorable achievement in her home country
ORANGE COUNTY, CA – Elite Grips, a prominent producer of advanced golf grips and the foremost Japanese grip brand, extends its congratulations to Thailand’s own Jeeno Thitikul for her remarkable achievement in winning the Honda LPGA Thailand tournament before an audience of family and friends.
On Sunday at the Old Course of Siam Country Club in Pattaya, Thitikul, an Elite Grips ambassador, delivered a final round score of 68, concluding the tournament at 24-under par and securing victory by one stroke over her closest competitor.
The company stated, “We are extremely happy for Jeeno with this accomplishment. She demonstrated strong composure under the unique pressures of performing before a home audience.” Additionally, the organization commended her excellent performance, emphasizing that this represents her eighth victory on the LPGA Tour and her third win in just five starts since last season.
Elite Grips has achieved notable success not only on the LPGA Tour but also across several international golf circuits, including the Japan Golf Tour. The Japan Golf Tour, recognized as one of the leading professional men’s tours globally, ranks third in annual prize funds, following the PGA Tour and the European Tour.
In 2025, Elite Grips were used in eleven tournament victories, representing nearly 45% of the season’s total wins.
The Elite 48 Star Grip, played by Thitikul, the champion of the Honda LPGA Thailand and winners on the Japan Golf Tour, is engineered with a proprietary elastomer developed independently, featuring the advanced material No. NK510. This unique synthetic rubber elastomer provides exceptional resistance to twisting, ensuring optimal torque balance. The grip is exclusively designed and manufactured in Japan.
The Elite Grip tip is soft to align with shaft movement, while the firmer handle ensures balanced torque transfer. Its separated top/bottom and left/right design improve fit, letting the palm adhere closely for easier handling and efficient torque transmission.
