Charleston, S.C. – Jeff Hoag, Owner of Scott Lake Golf & Practice Center and recurring presenter at Golf Business Conference, brings his popular pre-conference workshop back for GBC23. As in years past, his “Masterminds” session will engage owners and operators in meaningful, candid discussions about critical operational and industry issues — and encourage the group to offer effective and reliable solutions. Previous participants of this session have stated that even though the room is fully packed with attendees — it’s their favorite and most worthwhile way to kick off Golf Business Conference. “As a golf course owner, I’m passionate about our business, and I am always eager to talk and share ideas with other passionate owners,” said Hoag. “My Masterminds session is a way for other owners and operators to meet like-minded people. The conversations meander over all areas of golf business — increasing revenues, lowering costs, improving leadership and more — and every topic discussed is important. A fresh perspective from another owner may spark a good idea… and sometimes the conversation will lead to validation that they’re on the right track.”
Golf Business Conference 2023 will be held from January 23-25 in Orlando, Florida, co-located with the PGA Show. Hoag’s pre-conference session will take place Sunday, January 22 at the Rosen Centre (the GBC23 host hotel). While separate registration is required for this pre-con session, there is no charge for registered GBC23 attendees. Please remember to factor this earlier session into your travel plans and arrival dates.
GBC23 education sessions are eligible for continuing education units (CEUs) for Professional Golfers Association (PGA), Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), Club Management Association of America (CMAA), and Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA).
Attendees save $100 on GBC23 registration through December 31; find event details, the full education agenda and online registration at golfbusinessconference.com.
