Golf Industry Veteran Joanne Miller Joins Kevin Frisch PR
Kevin Frisch PR, a fully-integrated public relations agency specializing in golf, travel, lifestyle, and sports announces that golf industry veteran Joanne Miller has joined the company as Senior Account Executive.
Miller brings a wealth of golf-industry experience, including two decorated stints at Tour Edge Golf Manufacturing. As Public Relations Director at Tour Edge, she created and implemented media plans for product releases and assisted in creative marketing projects while developing strong relationships with key media contacts across the globe.
Having joined the golf industry in 2000, Miller brings a deep, varied skill set to Kevin Frisch PR. While at Tour Edge, she managed marketing and PR functions, social media, advertising and also annually organized one of the industry’s largest golf-media outings.
“Joanne Miller is one of the most respected and well-liked golf industry and media professionals in the business and that likability is only surpassed by her professionalism and dedication to excellent work,” said owner Kevin Frisch. “We have always taken pride as a boutique firm in the golf industry that consistently achieves large-firm results for our clients. Joanne helps leverage our business in a way that gives us further appeal to established golf companies.”
A talented writer, communicator and brand spokesperson, Miller was assistant editor at Chicagoland Golf Newspaper for six years and also served as New Chapter Development Consultant for the Executive Women’s Golf League. She was also tournament manager of the Illinois Women’s State Championship of Golf.
“Our clients are going to truly enjoy working with Joanne. She’s a solution-minded pro whose creativity and strong team work ethic is contagious. Unquestionably, she’s going to elevate our work and our attractiveness to new clients,” continued Frisch.
While at Tour Edge, Miller drove increased sales and a 10 percent annual increase in publicity placements and was instrumental in getting the mid-sized equipment company the same level of publicity as many of the titan golf brands. She was also part of a team at Tour Edge who was awarded the International Network of Golf’s Industry Honor for “Best PR Campaign.”
“Golf has always been a part of my life both professionally and personally since I was a child. After a brief stint working outside of golf, I am thrilled to return and begin working with the team at Kevin Frisch PR,” Miller says. “Kevin and Carl Mickelson have developed a strong professional reputation in public relations within the golf industry over the past 20 years and is building an impressive portfolio of clients who rely on their expertise. I look forward to being a part of this and supporting Kevin Frisch PR clients and the future growth of the company.”
