The Role
Ideally suits a forward thinking, progressive Golf Manager, or PGA Golf Professional that loves the business of golf but does not want to be tied to a particular club.
These Account Manager roles are an exciting opportunity for industry professionals to join the 59club USA business, supporting and growing a portfolio of partner venues who are looking to develop their business and the processes behind what they do. Each Account Manager will be the face of our business, great communicators and educators, confident in the analysis and presentation of data, with the ability to proactively source new opportunities and forge lasting relationships.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Seek opportunities to develop the footprint and raise the brand profile of 59club within Golf, Recreation, Spa, Hotel and Dining.
- Proactively manage relationships, contracts and outcomes with key stakeholders.
- Service a portfolio of existing clients in line with 59club account management protocol.
- Generate new business opportunities to achieve company established sales goals.
- Inspire, motivate and engage customers to maximize opportunities for collaboration.
- Adhere to 59club account management procedures, CRM protocol and database controls.
- Support marketing efforts.
- Onboard new mystery shopper and survey clients.
- Delivery of 59club’s education to partner venues, and industry trade associations.
- Ensure the accuracy, timely delivery and presentation of a client’s monthly mystery shopper report.
- Train, support and monitor 59club mystery shoppers, to ensure benchmarking audits are delivered to the agreed program and quality.
- Support the effective delivery of mystery shops (as required), attend 59club events and other industry networking events / trade shows.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will possess the majority of attributes listed below:
- A passion for customer service, and a background working within the industries supported by 59club.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the club business, at managerial level with evidence of effective leadership skills.
- Preferably a college degree, or industry recognised equivalent.
- A working knowledge of 59club’s benchmarking criteria (beneficial but not essential).
- A strong, established network and reputation in the industry is an asset.
- A working knowledge of resort and/or club operations.
- A track record of delivering KPI’s including financials and business development.
- Experience in the creation and delivery of employee training programmes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
- Confident in promoting 59club products (to include outreach & cold calls, presenting data & contract terms) to achieve a successful outcome.
- Skilled in managing, administering and presenting large quantities of data.
- IT literate, strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Demonstration of a consistent work ethic, as this is an independent role.
- Be able to work to a deadline and have flexible working hours.
- Willingness to travel to meet the needs of the business (including overnight).
- Driving Licence essential.
