Job Overview:
The Golf Fitter will play a pivotal role in our team, utilizing advanced fitting techniques, technology, and product knowledge to provide customized equipment recommendations. You will engage with customers to understand their needs, conduct precise fittings, and educate them on how custom-fitted KBS equipment can enhance their performance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Carry out detailed fittings using the latest golf fitting technology (launch monitors, lie boards, etc.)
– Analyze customer swing patterns, ball flight characteristics, and fitting data to recommend appropriate clubs and equipment.
– Educate customers on the benefits and features of custom-fitted KBS equipment.
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of golf club technology, fitting techniques, and product lines.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to support repeat business and customer loyalty.
– Maintain fitting tools and equipment to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
– Collaborate with sales teams to help achieve store performance goals and customer satisfaction.
– Stay current with golf industry trends, new products, and competitive offerings.
– Manage fitting appointments and ensure a smooth, customer-focused operation.
– Generate and interpret fitting reports to provide comprehensive feedback to customers.
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 2 years’ experience in golf equipment fittings, club building, or similar role.
– PGA qualification or equivalent certification is advantageous.
– Comprehensive knowledge of golf swing mechanics and club design.
– Proficient with modern golf technology (flight launch monitors, software, etc.).
– Strong customer service skills with a passion for golf and helping golfers improve their game.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in an understandable manner.
– Highly organized and detail oriented.
– Ability to work a flexible schedule including after hour events.
– Physical requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
