Job Overview
We are looking for a hard working, creative, and strategic Social Media & Email Marketing Manager with a high golf IQ. The ideal candidate will have a profound knowledge of the game of golf, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing social media and email marketing campaigns.
This role involves creating compelling content, authentic and knowledgeable engagement with golfers, and driving brand awareness and revenue growth through targeted marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Create, curate, and schedule high-quality content (including text, images, videos) that resonates with golf enthusiasts.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the golf community.
- Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance and reach.
Email Marketing
- Design and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, engage customers, and drive conversions.
- Create compelling email content, including company news, promotional offers, and personalized messages.
- Segment email lists based on customer behavior and preferences to ensure targeted messaging.
- Suggest, execute, monitor and report on A/B test to optimize key conversion metrics
- Track and analyze email campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
Golf Industry Expertise
- Utilize your deep understanding of golf to create content that speaks directly to our target audience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, news, and developments in the golf industry.
- Leverage industry knowledge to identify opportunities for content creation and audience engagement.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with the marketing team to align social media and email marketing strategies with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with designers, writers, and other team members to produce cohesive and compelling campaigns.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to continuously improve marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager and/or Email Marketing Manager.
- Exceptional understanding of golf (high golf IQ).
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter) and email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience working in the golf industry or with golf-related brands.
- Previous competitive golf experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
