John Maginnes, former PGA Tour Professional, and host of the Katrek and Maginnes On Tap radio show on SiriusXM’s PGA Tour Radio, has joined the Makefield Putter team as an exclusive endorser. John will be providing commercial endorsement and expertise on his radio show and other highly recognized media platforms.
“I have tested, tried, and examined the Makefield putter in every way possible. It truly is the finest putter product I have ever touched. Makefield’s unique ball roll off the putter face can improve the putting of any golfer at any level. It is now the only putter in my bag. I can’t wait to tell my listeners about it,” John shared
Maginnes, known for his surly and quick wit on The Katrek and Maginnes On Tap radio show, has been entertaining golf enthusiasts for 18 years. Prior to his broadcast career, John played professionally for 14 years, with a 9-year stint on the PGA Tour. Unfortunately, a nagging elbow injury ended his PGA Tour career. Today, John is also part of the play-by-play team at the major championships and Ryder Cup.
Makefield Putters, manufactured in Bensalem PA was created with an approach to solving some of the most common problems golfers experience on the putting green: wobbly putting strokes, distance and directional control, limited ball roll, and accessibility and availability. The team at Makefield Putters developed a system called Path of Inertia, which utilizes the weight, moment of inertia, and location of the center of gravity to produce a pure ball roll unique to Makefield Putters.
