Year-Round Giving Opportunities to Launch After Inaugural Event Supporting Four Talented Junior Golfers and one Central Florida Golf Team
LONGWOOD, FL – Breakthrough Golf Alliance announces that tomorrow, January 21st at 12:00 PM Eastern, marks the final deadline for sponsor and player registration for the inaugural Alliance Cup Charity Scramble, presented by Taino Golf, taking place Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Wekiva Golf Club in Longwood, Florida.
“This isn’t a flexible marketing deadline – it’s a logistics reality,” said Coach Brendon R. Elliott, PGA, of Breakthrough Golf Alliance. “After noon tomorrow, catering gets finalized and signage goes to print. We genuinely don’t want anyone to miss this opportunity to be part of something special.”
The Alliance Cup Charity Scramble represents far more than a single-day golf tournament. It serves as the official launch of a comprehensive year-long fundraising campaign designed to remove financial barriers for five scholarship recipients: Ava from Orlando, who dreams of playing college golf; Brevin from Norwich, NY, competing at the national level; Luz from Tampa, chasing championships; Keishlyan from Puerto Rico, pursuing her championship goals; and the Winter Park Boys Golf Team, making another State Championship run in 2026.
The event is proudly presented by Taino Golf, where culture meets the fairway. Founded by a family with a deep connection to their Taino heritage, Taino Golf creates apparel that unites the spirit of golf with Latino/Hispanic culture, embodying the values of familia and tradición while demonstrating that golf is for everyone, regardless of background. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to breaking down barriers and expanding opportunity within the sport.

With hours remaining before the deadline, the following sponsorship levels are still available:

- Hole Sponsor with Foursome – $1,000: Premium visibility with playing opportunity

All sponsorships are tax-deductible through Breakthrough Golf Alliance’s 501(c)(3) status and include year-long marketing exposure through monthly newsletter features, regular social media recognition, prominent website placement with logo and link, scholarship recipient updates, recognition at future events, behind-the-scenes content, and authentic storytelling opportunities.
YEAR-ROUND GIVING OPPORTUNITIES LAUNCHING SOON
While the January 21st deadline applies specifically to the Alliance Cup Charity Scramble, presented by Taino Golf, Elliott emphasized that sponsorship and contribution opportunities will continue throughout 2026 and beyond.
“The Alliance Cup is just the beginning,” Elliott explained. “Although we’re seeking sponsors and last-minute foursomes for Saturday’s event, there will be donation and sponsorship opportunities year-round for each of our scholarship recipients. That website will launch shortly after our Scramble.”
Throughout 2026, supporters will receive updates when Ava competes in her college showcase tournaments, results when Brevin travels to national competitions, progress reports as Luz and Keishlyan chase their championship goals, and news when the Winter Park Boys Golf Team makes their State Championship run.
“Whether it’s tournament entry fees, training expenses, travel costs, or equipment needs, these young athletes will need sustained support all year long,” Elliott noted. “Additional fundraising initiatives and giving opportunities will be announced in the coming weeks.”
ONLINE AUCTION LIVE NOW THROUGH JANUARY 26TH
In conjunction with the Alliance Cup Charity Scramble, presented by Taino Golf, Breakthrough Golf Alliance’s online auction is currently live and accepting bids through Monday, January 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM Eastern. The public is invited to participate regardless of whether they are attending the scramble event.
The auction, presented by Taino Golf, features more than 60 premium items including luxury vacation packages to destinations such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Italy, Greece, Egypt, and Iceland; golf getaways to Top 100 courses including Casa de Campo and Cabo San Lucas; signed sports memorabilia from legends like Jack Nicklaus, Mike Tyson, and Taylor Swift; VIP experiences including Broadway packages and Thanksgiving Parade viewing; wine tasting experiences; and dude ranch adventures.
Bidders can access all auction items at https://breakthroughgolf.winningbidder.com/event/4837.
MEET THE SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
What sets the Alliance Cup apart from typical charity golf events is the direct connection between sponsors and the young athletes they’re supporting. On January 24th, participants will actually meet a few of the scholarship recipients, shake their hands, and see exactly where their investment is going.
“These kids have talent. They have dedication. They’re working harder than most adults I know,” Elliott said. “The only thing they can’t control is money. Tournament fees, travel, equipment, coaching – it all adds up fast. And right now, financial constraints are the only thing standing between them and their goals.”
The scholarship recipients will know exactly who showed up for them and which businesses and individuals believed in their potential when it mattered most.

About Breakthrough Golf Alliance
Founded with the same spirit of giving that inspired the creation of Little Linksters 501(c)(3) in 2010, the newly formed Breakthrough Golf Alliance focuses specifically on supporting talented golfers aged 13 and above who have demonstrated exceptional promise but lack the financial resources to compete or effectively showcase their abilities. The organization firmly believes that financial constraints should never prevent exceptional talent from reaching its full potential.
Through targeted support, resources, and opportunities, Breakthrough Golf Alliance helps promising young athletes to overcome financial barriers and pursue their golfing aspirations. The organization’s mission ensures that talent, dedication, and passion, rather than economic circumstances — determine a young golfer’s potential for success in the sport.
