Jonas Club Software to debut Shift Manager, Self-Serve Kiosks and a New Mobile POS App at the 2020 PGA Merchandise Show
Markham, ON – At the 2020 PGA Merchandise Show, Jonas Club Software will be debuting and demonstrating how Shift Manager, self-serve kiosks and a new mobile point of sale application can help clubs thrive in 2020.
The new online platform will allow clubs to easily schedule staff, oversee departmental staffing budgets, and give their employees the ability to manage schedules and shift changes through their mobile devices. Shift Manager is fully integrated with Jonas Club Software’s club management system and is available now for implementation, but 2020 will mark the first public demonstration of the new platform.
“Without the proper tools, staff scheduling and coordinating shift changes can be a burden on a club manager’s time. Shift Manager simplifies the process, makes it easier for staff members to access schedules and allows managers to have more predictable staffing budgets. Everyone that has seen the product is instantly impressed,” explains Trevor Coughlan, Vice-President of Marketing at Jonas Club Software.
Self-serve kiosks will allow members to quickly and conveniently purchase items throughout the club without requiring staff members to be on hand in order to process transactions, saving clubs on staffing cost. According to the PYMNTS Unattended Retail Tracker businesses see a “30% increase in customers’ food and beverage orders when they use a self-service kiosk” and “Over 25% of consumers ages 65 and older have placed orders on self-service kiosks within the past 12 months.”
“Whether making the turn during a round of golf or leaving the fitness facility, a self-serve kiosk is a convenient way to give your members the opportunity to quickly grab a beverage or small food item.” adds Tony Borges, Director, Research and Development.
Mobile POS App
The new mobile Point of Sale application allows club wait staff to perform several functions that would normally be done at a stationary POS terminal, by way of a mobile device. Integrated with Jonas Club Software’s Point of Sale, our mobile solution eliminates the need for wait staff to return to a POS terminal for order placement and chit settlement. This reduces ticket times, improves the kitchen’s workflow in your dining facilities and creates POS availability in areas of your club’s property that have been unreachable by current POS technology. The solution brings improvement to your club’s dining processes even when Wi-Fi or Data connections are lost or disrupted.
“With clubs expanding the area of food and beverage service to large patios, pool areas, beachfronts and more, the new mobile point of sale app speeds up service allowing club wait staff to provide an exceptional dining experience throughout the club,” explains Product Manager Robert Lamanna.
