LAKE PARK, FLORIDA – JumboMax dominated at the Professional Long Drive Association (PLDA) World Championship, where the company’s grips were used by the winner as well as runner-up Bryson DeChambeau and top-4 finisher Justin James.
The champion hit a winning drive of 426 yards in the finals with a JumboMax STR8 TECH UltraLite (XS) swing grip. That was 20 yards longer than runner-up Bryson DeChambeau, who hit the grid three times in the finals but topped out at 406 yards. DeChambeau uses JumboMax UltraLite (XL) on his full swing clubs in long drive competitions and on the professional tours.
Justin James, who finished runner-up in last year’s event, finished in the top-4 with JumboMax STR8 TECH UltraLite (M) swing grips.
“We want to congratulate all of the top finishers in this year’s World Championships,” said John Mazzanoble, JumboMax VP of Tour Operations. “Their dedication to the craft and the hard work they put into their bodies and equipment to accomplish these feats is truly incredible. We’re proud to be helping these players unlock every bit of their potential.”
