(JUPITER, FL) – JumboMax® Grips announced today that Team Member, Bryson DeChambeau, recorded rounds of 66, 67, 67 and 65 to finish at 23 under par and capture a three-stroke victory at the Rocket Mortgage Classic held at the Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, Michigan this past weekend.
DeChambeau ranked 2nd in Birdies with 27 for the tournament, 1st in Strokes Gained Off the Tee (6.672), 4th in Strokes Gained Tee to Green (7.284), and 1st in Strokes Gained Total (15.116). He ranked 1st in Driving Distance with a 350.6-yard average, and 1st in the Long Drive category with a drive of 377 yards in the first round. He also dominated the putting categories where he ranked 1st in Strokes Gained Putting (7.831) and 7th in Putts Per Greens in Regulation with a 1.625 average.
This was DeChambeau’s seventh consecutive Top 10 of the season and the sixth victory of his PGA TOUR career.
This victory earned him a paycheck for $1.35 million dollars and 500 FedEx Cup Points. He is now ranked 4th on the FedEx Cup Points List and 7th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
