Partnership will span the 2027, 2029 and 2031 matches
Ryder Cup Europe and the PGA of America today announced that EY, the multinational professional services network, has become the Presenting Partner to the next three Junior Ryder Cup matches.
The biennial Junior Ryder Cup sees the best male and female junior amateurs from Europe and the USA, aged 18 and under, go head-to-head in a mixed event that takes place during the same week as the Ryder Cup. The event has produced a plethora of golfing stars since it was first staged in 1997, with six of the players who competed at the 2025 Ryder Cup having previously played in the junior event, and seven of the competitors at the 2024 Solheim Cup.
EY will be the Presenting Partner to the 2027, 2029 and 2031 Junior Ryder Cups. The first two days of foursomes and fourballs for the 2027 match will be held at Ballyneety Golf Club in County Limerick, Ireland, before the decisive single matches are held at Adare Manor the day before the venue hosts the Ryder Cup itself. Ballyneety, which will also host the 2027 G4D (Golf for the Disabled) Ryder Cup match, was co-designed by 2014 Ryder Cup Vice-Captain Des Smyth and is set on 183 acres of rolling Irish countryside and the exceptional parkland layout offers breathtaking views over Limerick County.
Richard Atkinson, Chief Ryder Cup Officer at the European Tour group, said: “The Junior Ryder Cup provides an exciting precursor to golf’s greatest team contest, with the next generation of golfing superstars showcasing their talent. With a company of EY’s scale coming onboard as Presenting Partner, we can further elevate the event in what promises to be a historic 2027 as we celebrate the Ryder Cup’s 100th anniversary.”
Terry Clark, Chief Executive Officer at the PGA of America, added: “The Junior Ryder Cup remains a premier platform for golf’s rising stars to compete on an international stage. EY’s presence will help us deliver exceptional experiences for both teams over the next three editions, including the Ryder Cup’s highly anticipated return to Minnesota in 2029 and Hazeltine National Golf Club.”
Frank O’Keeffe, EY Ireland Managing Partner, added: “EY is proud to sponsor the Junior Ryder Cup at Ballyneety Golf Course and Adare Manor. At EY, we are committed to creating pathways for young talent to succeed and to broadening access to high-performance sport. This is more than a sponsorship, it’s an investment in the next generation. We believe in providing young athletes with the opportunity to build resilience, to grow through teamwork and to lead with confidence.”
