LAKE PARK, FLORIDA — Team JumboMax Member Justin James claimed victory at the World Long Drive MB Invitational, the tour’s first event of the season.
James, No. 4 in the WLD Rankings, hit a 398-yard drive in the finals to win for the third time in his last nine events. James also launched the longest drive of the event at 414 yards and averaged 394.25 yards per drive at the event in Huntington Beach, Calif.
Justin James, the 2017 World Long Drive Champion, used JumboMax’s Tour Series XL (black/silver) swing grips to win. He uses different JumboMax grips based on the conditions to aid in his trajectory control.
JumboMax Grips are also used by Martin Borgmeier, the No. 3 ranked player in the WLD Rankings.
The WLD MB Invitational helped raise money for cancer research through Driving Out Cancer.
