NAPLES, Fla. – Defending champion Justin Leonard and five-time champion, World Golf Hall-of-Famer and former World No. 1 Bernhard Langer headline early commitments for the 2026 Chubb Classic presented by SERVPRO, Naples’ flagship PGA TOUR Champions event that will take place Friday-Sunday, Feb. 13-15 on the Black Course at Tiburón Golf Club.

Joining Leonard and Langer as early commitments include former World No. 1 players David Duval and Tom Lehman, as well as past champions Joe Durant (2018), Lee Janzen (2015) and Miguel Angel Jiménez (2019).

“The Chubb Classic is a mainstay in Naples and Southwest Florida, and we are excited to be celebrating the tournament’s 39th year with a world-class field, giving fans the unique opportunity to watch the legends of the game play in one of the top golf destinations in the country,” said Sandy Diamond, executive director for the Chubb Classic presented by SERVPRO. “We are thrilled with our early roster entered into the field.”

Celebrating its 39th year in Naples, the Chubb Classic is the longest-running PGA TOUR Champions event held in the same market. The tournament will feature a field of 78 players competing in the 54-hole championship for a share of the $1.8 million purse. Players have until 5 p.m. on Feb. 6 to commit to playing in the event.

Additional commitments will be announced in the coming weeks leading up to the Feb. 6 deadline. Golf Channel will televise all three rounds of play.

Leonard, 53, captured his first PGA TOUR Champions win at 15-under par, his first win in 17 years and during his 45th career PGA TOUR Champions start. Leonard also captured the Dominion Energy Charity Classic in October, ultimately finishing 7th in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup standings. Leonard is a 12-time PGA TOUR winner, including the 1997 Open Championship and the 1998 PLAYERS Championship.

He was unable to defend his title at the 2024 Chubb Classic due to an Achilles injury. Following his return from injury, he won the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship, his 47th PGA TOUR Champions win. Langer will be seeking his record-setting sixth Chubb Classic win in February. He was a 2002 World Golf Hall of Fame inductee.

Duval, 54, is a 13-time PGA TOUR winner and a major champion at the 2001 Open. He held the distinction as World No. 1 for 15 weeks in 1999, a year that he also became the first PGA TOUR professional to shoot a final-round 59 in tournament competition, and third player overall in PGA TOUR history. A golf analyst for ESPN, he has competed on the PGA TOUR Champions since 2022.

Lehman, 66, is a 12-time PGA TOUR Champions winner that includes three majors: the Senior PGA Championship (2010) and the Regions Tradition (2011 and 2012). A former No. 1 player in the world, Lehman captured five PGA TOUR wins, including the 1996 Open Championship and TOUR Championship.
