K-MOTION and GOLF Channel Announce Instruction Technology Partnership
K-Coach Coming to 30 GOLF Channel Academy Locations
K-MOTION – the leader in 3D evaluations and biofeedback training technology for coaches and athletes – and GOLF Channel announce a strategic partnership, wherein K-Motion will provide GOLF Channel Academy instructors the game’s most effective tool to coach and train a player’s optimal swing.
The deal includes a pilot program that will bring K-Coach, the company’s complete coaching platform for instructors, to 30 GOLF Channel Academy locations. The lynchpin of the partnership is the recently released K-Coach Evaluation, which unlocks complex 3D swing data by translating it into easy-to-understand scores and visuals. Now, every coach and player can access and utilize K-MOTION’s game changing information. Golfers of all skill levels can experience K-Coach by having an evaluation done at select locations, starting in early 2019.
“Partnering with GOLF Channel and GOLF Channel Academy represents a major step in our goal to redefine both golf instruction and training,” says K-MOTION CEO Michael Chu. “A long-term alliance with GOLF Channel allows us to bring 3D motion data and biofeedback to more players across the country.”
K-MOTION products will also be featured on GOLF Channel instructional programming, including “School of Golf,” co-hosted by Martin Hall. Hall is a long-time advocate and member of K-MOTION’s Advisory Board.
“As an early adopter of K-MOTION and 3D motion, I have seen firsthand the incredible results K-Coach provides for my players,” says Hall, 2008 PGA of America Teacher of the Year. “The adoption of this technology can further an instructor’s ability to accelerate player improvement through fact-based instruction.”
With 87 locations spanning 33 states and one European country, GOLF Channel Academy is among the most expansive golf instruction networks in the world today. The organization has 225 lead and staff coaches that include 11 current members of Golf Digest’s “Best Young Teachers in America” list and 46 members of Golf Digest’s “Best Teachers in Your State” rankings.
“At GOLF Channel Academy, we are committed to providing superior instruction and an unmatched player experience,” says Lorin Anderson, Vice President of Instruction at GOLF Channel. “By adding K-Coach and the K-Coach Evaluation to our teacher’s arsenal, we are incorporating the 3D technology that will accelerate their ability to precisely identify roadblocks to success and train the exact solutions to remove the roadblocks.”
