DALTON, MA – It’s OKay to talk Golf… is the creation of LPGA Hall of Fame instructor Kay McMahon who has donned a new hat in the golf world as the host of a golf-oriented TV variety show. Originating in the bucolic Berkshire Mountains in western Massachusetts, from the studios of Dalton Community Television in the township of Dalton, McMahon brings her humor and entertaining style to community television and online to viewers worldwide.
The fast paced 30-minute show includes historical segments called “Back in the Day”, letters to the Editor or “Dear Kay” conveying her sage advice on a variety of topics, “To Change or Not to Change” covering instructional experiences, and “Who’s Who” featuring well-known guests from throughout the golf world.
McMahon is one of the few LPGA members who is also a member of the PGA of America. She was also distinguished in 2020 as one of the Top Four Elite LPGA Instructors. McMahon is Director of Instruction and co-founder of eduKaytion Golf, featuring her innovative teaching program Golf 8.5. Golf 8.5 is her trademarked simplified approach to learning and improving every aspect of the golf swing.
Now in its third week – It’s OKay to talk Golf – has viewers of all ages and ranges of golf experience intrigued, educated and entertained. Viewers’ reactions have been, “I learned so much,” to “How did you do that so quickly,” to “Can’t wait for next week’s show!”
