KBS WINS 2024 Grant Thorton Invitational

December 16, 2024

After an exciting final round KBS found itself in the Winner’s spot at the Grant Thorton Invitational in Florida. The winner had a C-Taper 130X shafts in his PXG irons and wedges. This event is unlike the others during the season because it is a team event that consists of one PGA and LPGA Tour player. The winning teams PGA Tour golfer is a newer KBS player who has really made a name for himself in the last 2 years. He and his partner opened up their campaign with an impressive score of 58 and followed with a round of 66. Sunday, they needed to play another solid round to secure the victory. They played a steady front nine, but needed to make some more birdies on the back nine to edge out the field. Luckily for them their competition made some costly bogeys on the last few holes to give them a chance. The KBS player and his partner remained focused and birdied 3 out of the last 5 holes to win the tournament. Both him and his partner would end their 2024 season with 2 tournament wins. Oddly enough both of their other tour victories happened on February 25th. He said, “So a week like this felt a little bit on the opposite end of the spectrum, like let’s just make sure we enjoy it. Don’t get to do this very often. It’s the first time meeting each other. You also just don’t want to give off that bad energy for your teammate. If you hit a bad shot, whatever it is”. A huge congratulations go out to the overall season winner and all the players in the field of the Grant Thorton Invitational! | Player Driven. Tour Proven |

In the Bag of Grant Thorton Winner:
