After an emotional back-nine comeback, KBS found itself on top of the leaderboard at the WWT Championship! The winner had KBS Tour-V 120X shafts in his Calloway Irons and wedges in the bag. The player opened his campaign with a round of 68, followed by a dominant round of 64. Saturday, he shot a 66 to remain in contention but was still a few shots behind the leader. He started the final round slow with a 1-under front nine. The unphased KBS player went lights out on the back nine and shot a jaw dropping 28 (8 under) to win by 2 strokes. Although he has had an emotional 2023 season, the win at the WWT Championship secured his tour card and puts him in great standings for next season.
