Chicago, Ill. – Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Kildeer, Ill. recently welcomed Matt Simon as the club’s new head golf professional. Simon will oversee golf operations at the highly-regarded, Troon Privé-managed club located just outside of Chicago.
Simon has more than 23 years of experience in the golf industry, including assisting and leading the golf operations at 18-hole and 27-hole private club facilities. Prior to arriving at Kemper Lakes, Simon was a PGA professional at Biltmore Country Club in North Barrington. He is a Class A Member of the PGA of America.

A graduate of New Mexico State University with degrees in marketing and professional golf management, Simon is a native of Moline, Ill. He started playing golf at the age of five at Short Hills Country Club, managed by Troon’s Green Golf Partners division, and has had a passion for growing the game ever since. He has led several junior golf programs, men’s and women’s golf leagues and weekly golf clinics. At Kemper Lakes Golf Club, Simon will use his expertise in programming and instruction to improve members’ golf games.
