NORTHBROOK, Illinois, – KemperSports is pleased to announce the hiring of Chris Stewart as the general manager of Royal Melbourne Country Club in Long Grove, Ill. Stewart will lead the club in delivering a best-in-class member experience and oversee its business, food and beverage, golf and recreation operations.

Stewart’s extensive experience includes roles with corporate-owned clubs, single-owner facilities, developer-owned and member-owned clubs working as a general manager, regional manager and corporate director of strategic development. He most recently served as general manager of the River Club of Mequon in Wisconsin for the past two years. Prior to that, Stewart was the general manager of Eldorado Country Club in McKinney, Texas while also overseeing other private clubs in Dallas, Houston and Austin. He’s a Certified Club Manager (CCM) through the Club Manager’s Association of America (CMMA).
