Two KemperSports Veterans Join Nemadji Golf Course’s Leadership Team
KemperSports has selected Tom Beaudry and Vince Dodge to serve as the general manager and superintendent, respectively, at Nemadji Golf Course located in Superior, Wisconsin. In their new roles, Beaudry and Dodge will be responsible for helping shape the property’s guest experience, both on and off the course.
“Tom and Vince have deep golf industry expertise and understand the importance of creating the best guest experience,” said Steve Loomis, vice president of operations at KemperSports, which manages Nemadji Golf Course. “We are thrilled to welcome them to the Nemadji team and look forward to a successful season ahead with these two experts helping guide the property.”
Beaudry is a 26-year golf industry veteran who has been a member of the PGA of America for more than 20 years. He previously served as the general manager of The Wilderness at Fortune Bay and has been a KemperSports staffer for 10 years. During his career, Beaudry has received numerous accolades including Facility Promoter of the Year for both the Minnesota PGA Section in 2012 and the Dakota Chapter of the Minnesota Section in 2004.
Dodge has 35 years of golf industry experience and most recent served as the superintendent at The Wilderness at Fortune Bay. A KemperSports staffer for 17 years, he received his Golf Course Superintendents Association of America certification in 2001 and is a graduate of the turfgrass program at Penn State University.
Located near Lake Superior, Nemadji Golf Course offers unparalleled views coupled with a unique topography and beautiful tree-lined fairways. The facility includes design elements from three distinctly different architects — Stanley Pelcher, Don Herfort and Roger Packard, who also designed courses at two other KemperSports-managed properties. The 36-hole facility can be played in a shorter 9-hole format or as an 18-hole course.
