(CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.) – Keswick Hall, the renowned luxury boutique resort spanning 600 acres in the heart of picturesque Virginia Wine Country, congratulates its LPGA partner Lauren Coughlin on her wire-to-wire victory at the Aramco Championship this past weekend in Las Vegas.
Securing her third LPGA Tour title, Keswick Hall’s official touring professional and University of Virginia alumna posted an even-par 72 in the final round to finish at 7-under par, winning by five shots over Nelly Korda and Leona Maguire. Coughlin’s first official LPGA Tour victory on U.S. soil comes in her third start since returning from injury.
Following the season-opening Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, the 33-year-old sustained an upper calf strain and a ruptured Baker’s cyst while on a fishing trip that kept her sidelined until the Fortinet Founders Cup in late March.
“Finishing runner-up here last year definitely left a sour taste in my mouth, and adding an injury to the mix in February only made the climb back steeper, so this win is extra special,” says Coughlin, who jumped to No. 12 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.
Coughlin continues, “You never know when you’re going to get these changes. Trusting my preparation, having the support of Keswick Hall and a place like Full Cry at Keswick Club to get my game back to an elite level, made all the difference in finding the winner’s circle again. Full Cry is the best golf course in Virginia, and I look forward to celebrating this victory with the team when I visit the property in July.”
Coughlin entered the week seeking her first official win since 2024, when she won the CPKC Women’s Open and ISPS Handa Scottish Open. That year, she was also a member of the victorious Team USA at the Solheim Cup, held at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, where she finished the biennial competition with a 3-0-1 record. In December of 2025, Coughlin teamed up with PGA TOUR pro Andrew Novak to claim the Grant Thornton Invitational crown, but the event did not count as an official LPGA Tour win.
“Lauren worked incredibly hard just to get her game back to a competitive level after the injury, so to see her return from that adversity and put together a dominant victory against such a high-caliber field is a phenomenal story of resilience,” says Rob McNamara, Keswick Club General Manager and Director of Golf. “It’s exactly the kind of determination that makes us so proud to have her representing Keswick Hall.”
Before turning pro in 2017, Coughlin enjoyed a standout collegiate career with the Cavaliers. She won the 2016 ACC individual championship, earned Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) second-team All-America honors and led the conference in birdies (114) during the 2015-2016 season.
Coughlin will visit Keswick Hall during the week of July 1 to kick off the resort’s Fourth of July and America250 celebrations. For media members interested in attending the festivities around Coughlin’s appearance, please email Zach Sepanik at zsepanik@buffalogroupe.com.
