Keswick Hall Touring Pro Lauren Coughlin, Keswick Club Member Dr. Bob Rotella Named to Virginia Golf Hall of Fame 2026 Class

August 19, 2026

(CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.) — Keswick Hall, the distinguished 600-acre luxury boutique resort in Virginia Wine Country, announced today that its official touring professional Lauren Coughlin and esteemed Keswick Club member Dr. Bob Rotella have been named to the Virginia Golf Hall of Fame 2026 Class.

The Virginia Golf Hall of Fame will officially introduce its four-member class on October 27 at The Omni Homestead Resort during the organization’s 10th anniversary celebrations.

Coughlin, 34, will become the youngest person ever inducted into the Hall of Fame. A three-time LPGA Tour winner, she most recently won the 2026 Aramco Championship and played a key role in Team USA’s victory at the 2024 Solheim Cup. Her standout amateur career at the University of Virginia included an ACC individual championship along with multiple Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) Women’s Amateur titles.

“Keswick Hall has been an important base for me. The outstanding conditions at Full Cry and the team’s incredible support keep me competition-ready all year long,” says Coughlin, who secured her spot on the 2026 U.S. Solheim Cup Team earlier this week and will proudly represent the Red, White and Blue next month at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands. “Being inducted into the Virginia Golf Hall of Fame alongside respected Keswick Club member Dr. Rotella is a dream come true.”

Dr. Rotella is a world-renowned sports psychologist and author of the best-selling book Golf Is Not a Game of Perfect. Based in Charlottesville, he has worked with numerous PGA TOUR players, including Rory McIlroy and Padraig Harrington, as well as the University of Virginia golf teams. He remains an active golfer and proud member of Keswick Club.

“The peaceful, inspiring atmosphere of Keswick Hall and the welcoming community at the Keswick Club have long provided a perfect sanctuary for me here in Virginia,” says Dr. Rotella. “I am deeply honored to join the Hall of Fame and receive this recognition from the state I’ve called home for so long.”

Partnerships with both Coughlin and Rotella are one aspect of Keswick Hall’s ongoing commitment to competitive golf, as the resort has served as a U.S. Open local qualifying site each of the last four years and hosted numerous premier amateur events.

“It is an incredible privilege for two integral members of our Keswick Hall family to earn such a prestigious honor, and it is a testament to the exceptional caliber of individuals who call our club home,” says Molly Hardie, owner of Keswick Hall. “Lauren’s dedication to becoming one of the top players in the world is a constant source of pride for Keswick Hall and Club, while Bob’s legendary insights and renowned scholarship have enriched the game of golf globally.”

Keswick Hall offers 80 elegantly appointed guest rooms and inspiring dining experiences led by world-renowned, multi-Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, including the signature Marigold restaurant. Guests can indulge in holistic treatments at The Spa at Keswick Hall, access the state-of-the-art fitness center, play on seven tennis courts and two pickleball courts, or unwind year-round at the heated, adults-only Horizon Pool with its sweeping infinity-edge views.
