BERNARDSVILLE, NJ: LaBar Golf, the New Jersey-based golf course construction company today announced Eric Kelley has been promoted to Operations Manager for the company’s renovation business, LaBar Golf Renovations (LGR).
“After joining us in 2021, Eric quickly became an integral part of our team by demonstrating strong leadership and commitment to the broader objectives of our company ” said LGR Senior Vice President and Director of Operations, Todd Saganiec. “As our business has expanded, Eric’s efforts and hard work have consistently aligned with our shared vision, elevating those around him and making the team stronger”.
Prior to joining LaBar Golf, Kelley spent 10 years as the golf course superintendent at Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster, NJ. During his time there, Eric had oversight for the renovation work associated with the championship preparation leading up to the 2022 PGA Championship, as well as the 2017 U.S. Women’s Open. Eric worked alongside the LaBar Golf team during two full bunker renovations at Trump National Bedminster (2015 & 2020). In addition, in 2019, he served a short stint as Golf Course Superintendent at Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield, Illinois, hosting the 2019 Korn Ferry Tour event.
Raised in Illinois, Eric graduated in 2008 from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a Bachelor’s Degree in Plant and Soil Science. He currently resides in Hackettstown, New Jersey with his wife Kimberly, and two children.
