LABAR GOLF, NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED GOLF COURSE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, LAUNCHES LABAR GOLF SURVEYING DIVISION

BERNARDSVILLE, NJ:  LaBar Golf, the New Jersey-based golf course construction company, today announced the launch of LaBar Golf Surveying (LGS), a division of the company that will offer golf course and course architect partners a full suite of geospatial services and mapping capabilities to add to their existing offerings regarding golf course construction: irrigation, renovation, and new course construction.

The newly established LGS will focus on the following:

  1. Preconstruction Geospatial Assessment for Architectural Planning
  1. Comprehensive documentation of existing golf course features to support maintenance, upgrades, and planning.
    1. Sharable data for use by golf architects and irrigation consultants.
  1. Catalogue Golf Course Features and Infrastructure
    1. Detailed as-built maps of irrigation and drainage systems to ensure accurate records and efficient system management.
    2. Digitized delineation of course features for use by third-party platforms.
    3. Integration with central irrigation software
  1. 3D Surface Scanning and Modeling
    1. High-resolution 3D scanning and modeling of course surfaces for precise analysis, planning, and visualization.
    2. Sharable with third-party hole location programs.
    3. Permanent control points for use with future construction projects.
  1. Ortho-Rectified Aerial Imagery and Photogrammetry
    1. Drone-captured, ortho-rectified aerial imagery and photogrammetry for a complete, high-accuracy view of the course.
