Dallas, TX – The energy was palpable at Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas as Jennie Park, Associate at Gleneagles Country Club, claimed victory at the Inaugural Lajitas Golf Resort Women’s Section Championship presented by A.PUTNAM. Shooting a stellar 4-under-par to win by six strokes, Park’s triumph was more than an individual achievement – it was a celebration of the unstoppable momentum of women’s golf in Northern Texas.
“It’s really hard to win in golf…it feels really good. It’s definitely a confidence booster after going back into competitive tournament play, so I’m extremely happy with this week,” Park shared after the final round.
Park was quick to credit her support system, including playing partners Angella and Kim, family, and the mentorship at Gleneagles, for fueling her championship run. The camaraderie, competitive atmosphere, and shared passion for the game made the two-day event one to remember for all 22 participants competing for a $7,500 purse.
