Alexandria, VA – The Club Foundation announces the 2024 LaRocca Family Executive Scholars. This scholarship provides support to mentor-mentee teams, including one established, experienced club leader and his/her aspiring mentee.
The 2024 recipients are:
- Jenn Paciotti, CCM, Director of Clubhouse Operations, and Patrick Gilling, Food and Beverage Manager, at Daniel Island Club, Charleston, SC
- Kyle M. Ruch, CCM, General Manager, and Anahi Perez, Clubhouse Manager, at North Shore Country Club, Glenview, IL
- Douglas Shifflett, CCM, CCE, Chief Operating Officer, and Passion S. Graham, CCM, Director of Clubhouse Operations, at Governors Club, Chapel Hill, NC
In 2010, in recognition of the impact of The Club Foundation on their career development, the LaRocca Family stepped forward to give back to the industry by making a generous contribution to the Foundation. The LaRocca Family Executive Scholarship was created to both honor their commitment to professional development and to recognize their continued support of The Club Foundation. The vision behind the scholarship speaks to the long-standing industry culture to give, give back, and provide mentorship and nurturing to emerging leaders in the club profession.
Recipients of this scholarship receive funds for attendance at one Business Management Institute (BMI) program for the mentor and support the mentee’s attendance at a World Conference, Leadership/Legislative Conference, or the cost of national and local membership dues.
