Toptracer’s Range Platform Finds Success at Billy Casper Golf Facility
Billy Casper Golf (BCG) – one of America’s largest owner-operators of golf courses, country clubs and resorts – will celebrate its alliance with Topgolf’s Toptracer Range platform, branded as “Launchbox Golf” from May 17 – 19 at 1757 Golf Club.
Well known for the innovative on-screen ball-tracking technology seen on PGA TOUR television broadcasts, Launchbox Golfansforms driving ranges into practice and entertainment destinations. The unity of technology and fun produce memorable experiences for all skill levels, allowing friends and family to compete in games or play virtually on courses including Pebble Beach, Spyglass and Spanish Bay.
“Golfers of all abilities have enjoyed Toptracer’s innovations, whether gaming for fun or dialing in their stats,” says Aaron Czajka, BCG regional director of operations for the Mid-Atlantic. “The Launchbox Golf experience is enhanced with a large menu, music and TVs. 1757 Golf Club is proud to be BCG’s first Launchbox Golf facility and we are excited the future.”
Launchbox Golf at 1757 Golf Club, includes 21-inch monitors mounted into ten different hitting bays, enabling players to see the detailed shape of each shot, distance, ball speed, launch angle and more.
The celebratory weekend entitles guests to a free Launchbox Golf session for the first hour, giveaways for free rounds of golf, and the opportunity to compete against Long Drive Professional Josh Jackson, who will try to outdrive those in attendance using just a 9-iron.
In addition, a special partnership with local Woodbridge–based Brew Republic Bierworks has been forged to create a Hazy Session IPA exclusively for 1757 Golf Club. The beer will affectionately be named, “Swing Easy IPA” and debut at the club on Friday, May 17 from 3 – 6 p.m. Brew Republic Bierworks’ Owner Amy Frederick, Brew Master Jeff Hyatt and other members of their team will be on-site for the tasting.
