Indianapolis, IN   – The National Association of Lefthanded Golfers (NALG), an organization dedicated to supporting and promoting lefthanded golfers through events, resources, and community, is thrilled to announce the lefthanded state organizations in the Midwest are now accepting registrations for the series of summer Midwest golf tournaments.

“We’re thrilled the lefthanded golfer’s organizations in the Midwest are coming together this summer to provide a weekend of fun and competition for leftys at all levels of play in their states,” said Sid Miner, Chairman of the National Association of Lefthanded Golfers. “Lefthanded golfers are often underrepresented in the competitive field of golf, and this Summer Swing Tournament series gives our midwestern leftys plenty of options to compete.”

The following states and their respective organizations are hosting tournaments in the Lefthanders Summer Midwest Tournament Swing:

  • Indiana Leftys 2025 State Tournament, June 7 & 8,  Kokomo, Indiana.
  • 2025 Michigan State Tournament for Lefties, August 16 & 17, Romulus, Michigan.
  • 2025 Minnesota State Lefties Tournament, July 19 & 20, Monticello, Minnesota.
  • 2025 Ohio State Lefties Tournament, July 19 & 20, New Vienna, Ohio.

Entry fees, tournament formats and event details vary by each state and are detailed at the links provided.

“While each tournament in this series may look a little different, they’re all being held at fantastic courses, and being held to promote friendly competition amongst lefthanded golfers,” explained Miner.
