The legacy of Frank Broyles lives on!
Legendary Arkansas football coach and avid golfer Frank Broyles was one of the first to appreciate the potential of the Putting Arc when he purchased ten of the MSIII’s for the Arkansas Golf Team in 2004.
The benefits of this long ago purchase can still be seen. Last weekend former All-American Arkansas lady golfer Gaby Lopez won her first LPGA tournament in China, while a week earlier another Arkansas All American won the LPGA Q School. She now has the option to join the LPGA Tour or return to Arkansas for another year of college golf.
The Putting Arc wishes good luck to both in the coming golf season!
Congratulations also to Vijay Singh and Matt Kuchar for their respective wins on the PGA Tour Champions and the PGA Tours.
5 of the top 6 finishers (and 16 of the top 18) at the PGA Tour Champions Schwab Cup are present or past Putting Arc users, as were 8 of the top 9 at PGA Tour’s Mayakoba Golf Classic in Mexico.
Finally, it is important to realize that the Putting Arc is not just for the touring pros and top amateurs. Last week, 75 year old, 20 plus handicap golfer Jay Troutman won the Longue Vue Cup at the Longue Vue Country Club in Pittsburgh, PA. He defeated the current club champion and scratch golfer 2 and 1 in the final 18 hole match of the summer-long match play tournament.
Jay is a long time Putting Arc user and had 29 putts in his last round. He putted well all summer on some fast and difficult greens. Good going, Jay!
Get your own Putting Arc and learn to putt well, no matter what your handicap is!
