Legends Invitational, one of the most prestigious and longest-running privately-owned tournaments at the renowned Pebble Beach, welcomes Foresight Sports and Bushnell Golf as this year’s Title Sponsors. The 32nd Legends Invitational will be held on November 9-13th, 2023.
The event brings together Medal of Honor recipients Mike Thornton and Jack Jacobs, twenty Navy SEALs, along with several Pro Football Hall of Fame players and spouses. Participating sports celebrities are invited to be “Celebrity Captains” and paired with the tournament’s foursomes. Included among the many football legends who have participated in past years is Randall McDaniel, Anthony Munoz, Jan Stenerud, Marshal Faulk, Lawrence Taylor, and Jerry Rice. Bringing together some of the country’s greatest military and sports heroes, Legends Invitational is, according to tournament president John Lee, another way of uniquely honoring and thanking those who serve. “On any given day, Navy SEALs are serving in countless countries around the globe protecting our quality of life in the USA. This four-day tournament event begins on Thursday, November 9th at The Inn at Spanish Bay, a five-star hotel. The Navy SEALs demonstration, hosted by Jack Daniel’s, begins at 3pm with the elite team parachuting onto the first hole, followed by a special repelling demonstration with K-9 teams at the Inn at Spanish Bay. Afterward, a dinner at the hotel’s main ballroom will complete the night’s activities.
On Friday, participants play Spanish Bay, followed by a reception in the grand ballroom to celebrate the Pro Football Hall of Fame players. The exclusive event allows guests to meet all attending celebrities in an intimate, friendly setting.
On Saturday, participants compete for a round at The Links at Spyglass Hill. Evening activities include cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the fire pits of Spanish Bay.
Sunday, the final day of the event, starts off with a round of golf at Pebble Beach, followed by an Awards Banquet at the Beach Club reserved exclusively for Legends Invitational participants.
Added to this year’s Pebble Beach event roster will be four aspiring youth players from Foresight Sports’ UpNext player development program. Launched at the beginning of the year, the UpNext program offers Foresight’s tour-dominating launch monitor technology to up-and-coming junior players and organizations at steeply reduced cost.
