New England dot Golf (www.newengland.golf), a digital marketing platform that highlights the best of golf in New England and beyond, has announced that award-winning sports writer Len Ziehm has joined its team of golf writers.

Len Ziehm joins a team of veteran golf journalists that include Bruce Berlet, Steve Pike, Leigh MacKay, Ed Travis, John Ingoldsby, Rob Duca and Pam Borges. The total combined experience of the staff exceeds 300 years, more than any other print or digital golf media outlet.

In his new role, Len will be providing regular contributions ranging from travel, interviews, lifestyle and special assignments.

Len Ziehm brings more than 40 years of professional journalism experience to New England dot Golf. His background includes 40 years as sports writer for the Chicago Sun-Times.  He has covered 27 U.S. Opens, 11 Masters, 17 PGA Championships, 4 U.S. Women’s Opens and 34 Western Opens.

Len was recognized last year with one of the highest honors bestowed on a golf writer when he was inducted into the Class of 2019 Illinois Golf Hall of Fame. He is also a golf columnist for the Daily Herald, and regular contributor to Chicagoland Golf, Morning Read and Illinois PGA website.

“I look forward to joining the team of writers at New England. Golf,” said Ziehm, from his home/office in Port St. Lucie, Florida, where he has lived since 2016. “This is a wonderful opportunity to continue to travel and write about golf – a sport I am passionate about.”
