On Sunday at Aronimink, Aaron proved exactly that. Starting the day two shots off the lead in one of the most crowded major leaderboards in memory, he stayed composed while the field around him wavered. An eagle on the 9th ignited his charge, pulling clear with back-to-back birdies on the back nine, and sealing it with a stunning 68-foot birdie at the 17th. A final-round 65 and a three-shot victory, his first major title, won with the tactical precision he is known for.
