KemperSports Selected to Manage Links at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, Maryland
Final Pete and Alice Dye Design Located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore
NORTHBROOK, Illinois, – Capital Properties has selected KemperSports to manage golf operations at Links at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, Maryland. The newly opened venue is a Pete Dye Signature Course and represents the final design work completed by Pete and Alice Dye. The private club on Maryland’s eastern shore is a signature offering of the waterfront destination, Perry Cabin Resorts & Golf. Along with the 18 hole championship venue, the golf operation currently includes a golf shop with eight state of the art HD Golf simulators, and a Jim McLean Golf Academy on site with plans for a new clubhouse, driving range and world class short game area.
Links at Perry Cabin takes players on an intimate journey, winding through strands of majestic hardwoods and rolling fairways playing through stunning topography and vistas of Maryland’s iconic Eastern shore. As the final design by the legendary Pete and Alice Dye, you can feel their hands on every curve of the course. Devilish bunkers, a Biarritz 7th hole and an island green will challenge and delight players. The finishing stretch of the 16th, 17th and 18th holes, dubbed the “Goodnight Kiss” by Dye himself, was designed to “remain in the golfer’s mind long after the round is over,” just like a goodnight kiss on a first date. The championship course stretches just over 7000 yards from the back tees and plays to a more manageable 4800 from the forward tees. Bent grass tees, greens and fairways complete with sub-air infrastructure were constructed to provide the finest in course conditions throughout the year.
Along with a number of membership options, resort guests at Perry Cabin Resorts & Golf, a 78 room luxury resort featuring a sailing academy and a tennis program managed by Cliff Drysdale, enjoy exclusive access to the course.
