The private indoor golf and social institution, brought to West Lake Hills by Austinite Dave Rogenmoser, will open this winter
AUSTIN, TEXAS — Austin native and longtime local entrepreneur Dave Rogenmoser is proud to announce The Mackenzie Club, a sophisticated, members-only retreat for golf aficionados, will open in West Austin this winter. Bringing a new gathering place for golfers who love both the game and the camaraderie that comes with it, the 33,000-square-foot club will offer year-round golf with state-of-the-art technology, chef-driven dining, wellness amenities and dedicated executive offices. Opening at 260 Addie Roy Road in West Lake Hills, The Mackenzie Club will be the one-stop destination for Austin’s premier golf and social community.
The Mackenzie Club is built on the idea that work, play and connection are most powerful at their intersection. Designed to support members beyond the game of golf, the club reflects Rogenmoser’s philosophy of creating a community where people can build relationships, recharge and thrive across all facets of their lives.
“We created The Mackenzie Club to be a second golf home, a place where friends across clubs can meet to practice their swing, unwind in a steam room, connect with business partners and enjoy a great meal, all under one roof,” said Rogenmoser.
Rogenmoser set out to create a place where the game, the setting and the people matter equally. His vision will come to life in a warm, modern take on the traditional golf club, designed by Michael Hsu Office of Architecture. Outdoor spaces—including a patio with Hill Country views, lounge areas, fire pits and putting and short-game greens—pay homage to the legendary courses designed by Dr. Alister MacKenzie, the club’s namesake.
The three-story club will feature a best-in-class tech environment with eight Trackman simulator suites, a dedicated PuttView putting lab, professional golf lessons, club fittings and programming for both serious practice and social rounds—all thoughtfully designed to elevate performance. Beyond golf, members will find a chef-driven restaurant and craft beverage bar, plus recovery-focused amenities such as a sauna, steam room, cold plunge, red light therapy room and golf-specific fitness coaching. Members can also take advantage of executive workspaces and meeting rooms for team outings and hosting clients. While The Mackenzie Club will be a members-only facility, members can bring guests with them to enjoy the experience.
The Mackenzie Club is currently accepting applications on its website ahead of membership enrollment later this year. For more information, please visit mackenzieclub.com.
