ORLANDO, Fla., – With one magical swing, an attendee at the 66th PGA Merchandise Show can go home with some extra cash in his or her pockets. SKYiGOLF, a services and solutions provider aimed toward helping PGA Pros and facility owners while making the game more fun for players, is offering up to a $10,000 purse for show-goers making an ace at the SKYiGOLF Booth (Booth 2709) during the PGA Show Wednesday through Friday.
“We feel that a hole-in-one is the greatest moment any golfer can have, and as a team we thought, ‘Why not ramp up excitement at our first PGA Show by giving away $10,000?’ ” said SKYiGOLF Founder/CEO Rich Smith.
One fun feature at every SKYiGOLF facility is a Hole-In-One Challenge to celebrate the game’s most exciting shot. On a designated par-3 hole, high-tech 4K cameras are positioned to capture the shot near the tee and green and a player making an ace will be given a narrated keepsake video . . . in addition to $10,000! At the PGA Show, any golfer making an ace on the OptiShot Golf Simulator in the SKYiGOLF booth will be eligible for a share of a $10,000 purse. (Should more than one attendee make an ace during the Show, the purse will be divided equally.) As SKYiGOLF brand ambassador Paula Creamer likes to say, “Show us what you got!”
Boosted by technology partnerships with foreUP and On-Pin, SKYiGOLF offers the tools and data intelligence to help the PGA Professional and facility owner in running a better business, and at the same time aims to make the game more fun to those golfers who play it. Ten thousand dollars for a single swing? That qualifies as added excitement!
The 66th PGA Merchandise Show begins Wednesday morning at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
