JACKSON TOWNSHIP, N.J., – Entries are now closed and the final field is set for the 2024 Magnit Championship, Aug. 15-18 at Metedeconk National Golf Club in Jackson Township, N.J. As the final opportunity for players to qualify for the Korn Ferry Tour Finals and to earn PGA TOUR status for 2024, the Magnit Championship features an elite field that includes PGA TOUR winners, multiple Korn Ferry Tour winners, former collegiate standouts, New Jersey residents and future stars of the PGA TOUR.
Nine of the top-10 players on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List are committed to the championship, including multiple Korn Ferry Tour winner Matt McCarty (1), Steven Fisk (2), Tim Widing (3), Max McGreevy (4), Harry Higgs (5), 2023 Magnit Championship runner-up Taylor Dickson (6), Quade Cummins (8), Kevin Velo (9) and Brian Campbell (10). Overall, 27 of the top-30 and 90 of the top-100 players on the Points List are entered into the championship.
The field also features several New Jersey/New York/Philadelphia residents and natives, including Princeton alum Evan Harmeling, Morgan Hoffman (Franklin Lakes), David Kocher (Morristown), Harry Higgs (Camden), Dan McCarthy (Syracuse), Daniel Miernicki (Philadelphia), Kevin Roy (Syracuse), Julian Suri (New York) and John Pak (Scotch Plains).
Several PGA TOUR winners are entered into the championship, including the 2011 FedExCup champion Bill Haas, Ryan Armour, Jonathan Byrd, Austin Cook, Tommy Gainey, Fabian Gomez, Adam Long, S.Y. Noh, Trey Mullinax, Kyle Stanley, Robert Streb and Richy Werenski.
The field also includes:
- 15 of 17 winners during the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour season.
- Six of seven players that are officially #TOURBound for 2025: Taylor Dickson, Steven Fisk, Harry Higgs, Matt McCarty, Max McGreevy and Tim Widing.
- Four multiple-time winners on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2024 (Matt McCarty, Taylor Dickson – runner-up in 2023, Tim Widing and Harry Higgs).
- Two players who competed in the Paris Olympics (Zecheng Dou – China; Kris Ventura – Norway).
- Nine players have at least 5 top-10 finishes on the Korn Ferry Tour this season.

Following the conclusion of the Magnit Championship, the top 156 players on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List will advance to the four-tournament Korn Ferry Tour Finals, where 30 PGA TOUR cards will be awarded at the conclusion based on the Points List.
Tickets on sale: Tickets are on sale for the Magnit Championship at www.magnitchampionship.com, including hospitality and general admissions tickets offering a wide degree of entertainment and access. All 2024 tournament tickets will be completely digital and will be emailed after purchase. Tickets can be viewed either on a mobile device or printed out where they will be scanned at the admissions gate.
All military personnel (active, retired, reserve and veteran) and first responders (police, fire, EMS) will receive complimentary admission to the 2024 Magnit Championship. Tickets will be available at the main admissions tent during tournament week by showing proper identification. Children 17 years of age and younger will also be admitted free into the tournament with a paid adult.

The inaugural Magnit Championship was contested in August of 2023, where Chan Kim captured his first Korn Ferry Tour win by three shots at 20-under par. The Magnit Championship marked the Korn Ferry Tour’s first event in New Jersey in 25 years.
The 2024 Magnit Championship will feature a field of 156 players from around the world competing over 72 holes for a share of a $1,000,000 purse. The event will be the 22nd of 26 events on the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour schedule and final opportunity for players to qualify for the Korn Ferry Tour Finals.
Metedeconk National Golf Club, which originally opened in 1987, is located in the upper region of the New Jersey Pinelands and is routed through the local marsh and lowland pine forest. Metedeconk National Golf Club is a private, 27-hole facility, which was designed by world-renowned golf course architects Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Roger Rulewich.
