Congratulations to Padraig Harrington on his win at the Ascension Charity Classic. After hitting seven birdies in his closing round of 3-under 68, Harrington raised the Ascension Charity Classic trophy in victory.
The striking trophy, crafted by renowned artist Malcolm DeMille, sculpturally brings the tournament logo to life. The silver toned trophy incorporates the St. Louis Gateway Arch and Mississippi River, reflective of the event’s host city, surrounding the Ascension logo floating in the center of tournament’s top prize.

The APGA Tour St. Louis — Ascension Classic presented by Daugherty Business Solutions. To be played in tandem to the Ascension Charity Classic. This new event supports the Advocates Professional Golf Association (APGA) Tour. The APGA Tour is a non-profit organization with the mission to prepare African Americans and other minority golfers to compete and win at the highest level of professional golf, both on tour and in the golf industry.
The Champion of the APGA Tour St. Louis Ascension Classic, Brad Adamonis, also took home an original trophy by Malcolm DeMille. After sinking a 5-foot birdie putt on the final hole Adamonis lifted the handcrafted trophy in victory. The 14” tray features the iconic St. Louis Gateway Arch that can also be seen in the Ascension Charity Classic trophy. The tray is also engraved with the APGA, tournament name, year and Champion.
