Congratulations to the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champion winners Brooke Henderson & Mardy Fish! Over the weekend, LPGA champions played a 72-hole stroke play with no cut, while celebrities fought it out in a modified Stableford format. In the end, Brooke Henderson produced a Wire-to-Wire win & Mardy Fish duked it out amongst the celebrities to earn the handcrafted Hilton Grand Vacations TOC trophy by Malcolm DeMille.
The trophy awarded features textured panels pierced with open work palm trees that fit together to resemble a 3-diamentional representation of the tournament logo. The perpetual trophy is finished in bright rhodium plate and stands over 20” tall on a hardwood base including a title plate and plates on each side to record past champions.
Not only did Malcolm DeMille create this attention-grabbing modern trophy, but also designed and crafted “player badge” money clips for the event. Players were asked to wear these money clip badges that would allow them to roam freely during the event, but then would become a functioning memento afterwards. Player badges remain a classy way to ensure security without needing internet or power on a large course.
LPGA Champions and Celebrities weren’t the only recipients of Malcolm DeMille’s fine craftsmanship at the Hilton Grand Vacations TOC. The winners of the Pro-Am took home sleek trophy trays to honor their win. These 10” Gadroon Trays feature a casted nickel plate logo surrounded by engraving of the event information and will be customized after the event to feature their names.
And finally, management team members were recognized with some beautiful pieces of jewelry. The women were gifted a delicate and stunning ½” sterling silver pendant of the Hilton Grand Vacations TOC palm tree logo with a hidden bail. While the men were acknowledged with satin nickel cuff links featuring the same HGV TOC palm tree logo. Both pieces of jewelry are superb keepsakes to honor the team member’s hard work.
