It was an exciting weekend across the golf world, marked by standout performances and exceptional craftsmanship from Malcolm DeMille. At the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational on the PGA TOUR Champions circuit, Zach Johnson secured a memorable victory in his Champions Tour debut, taking home a beautifully handcrafted trophy created by Malcolm DeMille. This signature award features a nickel plated bronze sculpture of a Hardie home, set on an etched crystal riser depicting both a golf course and a football field, and completed with a black wooden base showcasing the event’s logo and Champions plate.
Jimbo Covert also delivered an impressive performance, earning the Pro Football Hall of Fame title. His achievement was celebrated with a high end stainless steel Trophy Tray from Malcolm DeMille, distinguished by a 2D replica casting of the event’s Take Home trophy. Similar Trophy Trays were presented to the “Home of Legends” Pro-Am winners, extending the event’s tradition of elegant, handcrafted awards.
Meanwhile, on the PGA TOUR, the nearly two-decade partnership between the Arnold Palmer Invitational and Malcolm DeMille continued to shine through their exclusive Pro-Am Participant Player Badge Money Clips. Inspired by Arnold Palmer’s iconic umbrella, the Arnold Palmer Invitational Pro-Am’s polished nickel money clip featured a ring of umbrellas, paired with epoxy that highlighted the event logo. The Legacy Pro-Am money clips took on a different artistic approach, adopting an “eagle eye” view of an open umbrella, with colorful epoxy panels and Pro-Am branding.
The artisans at Malcolm DeMille also crafted impressive Trophy Tray awards for both Pro-Am tournaments. Legacy Pro-Am Champions, along with the second- and third-place finishers, received smooth, polished stainless steel trays engraved with event details and accented by a medallion logo filled with green epoxy. Winners of the Arnold Palmer Invitational Pro-Am received gadroon edged stainless steel trays, beautifully engraved and adorned with the classic Arnold Palmer umbrella colors of red, yellow, white, and green.
