For nearly 10 years, Malcolm DeMille has handcrafted trophies for Shooting Star Club including sculptures of the Grand Tetons for their Silver Spur Invitational, pistols for their Showdown and Spurs for their Club Championship. This year we are ecstatic to add another unique trophy to their growing list of Malcolm DeMille originals.
Shooting Star Club contacted Malcolm DeMille to tackle the prize for the Women’s Shootout event, The Wildflower. Wanting to embrace the tournament theme and home state, it was decided that Malcolm DeMille would sculpt Wyoming’s state flower the Wyoming Indian Paintbrush.
The Champions earned a bronze 7” sculpture of the Wyoming Indian Paintbrush hand patinaed to reflect the vibrant colors of the wildflower. The 2nd Place winners received an aluwhite version of the flower. Both Champion and 2nd Place trophies sit atop an oak base with a walnut finish. These beautifully crafted sculptures are the prefect addition to the Shooting Star Club trophy cabinet and a perfect award for their women’s event.
