Marriott Golf Announces Cody Ceccato as newly appointed Head Golf Professional at JW Marriott Camelback Golf Club
Marriott Golf, the global golf division of Marriott International, Inc., today announced that Cody Ceccato has been promoted to the position of Head Golf Professional at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn, Golf Club & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona. In his new role, Ceccato will be responsible for coordinating golf operations for the luxury 36-hole facility including membership events, retail merchandising, Hotel and guest play, instruction, staff training, and customer engagement.
A 2010 graduate of Ferris State University’s Professional Golf Management Program, Cody has a strong background in resort golf operations, with experience working at Doral Resort & Golf Club in Miami, Fl, as well as several years in management roles with Marriott’s Global Golf Division, most recently as Head Golf Professional at Toftrees Golf Club, in State College, PA.
JW Marriott Camelback Golf Club, a leader in resort hospitality and club membership since 1970, and a flagship property in the Marriott Golf portfolio, features two 18-hole courses and hosts Members, Hotel guests, and local players. The Ambiente Course was designed by notable golf architect Jason Straka on behalf of Hurdzan Fry Environmental Golf Design. The 7,225-yard, par 72 course challenges players with several striking features. The landscape is made up of mountain vistas, native trees and wildflowers. Mindful of its surroundings, this Arizona course was specifically created to be eco-friendly and sustainable.
