Roy completed the PGA Business School in November of 1968 and turned to Club Fitting exclusively in 2005 when he opened his golf shop in Columbus, Georgia. While the golf shop was open Roy did clubfitting in person and custom building. When Roy retired 11 years ago and closed his off course golf shop he built a replica of his custom shop at home and added a fitting studio so he could continue doing fittings. Although in good overall health Roy’s ailments reached a stage of being unpredictable to the point he could not schedule appointments. Roy based on a lifetime of experience developed a fitting form that allows him to do custom fitting online that proved to be highly successful.
