MembersiQ Provides Clubs Engagement and Retention Tips During COVID-19
MembersiQ, the golf industry’s only member at-risk member engagement platform, has been working with private clubs across the country to provide expertise and ideas for member engagement during this period of social distancing and home isolation. “Now is not the time for clubs to be sitting on their hands,” said CEO Andrew Morgan. “Members can’t come to the club, so the facilities need to bring the club to their members. Clubs should be doing everything they can to demonstrate they’re an integral part of their member’s lives”
The MembersiQ team has compiled ideas and best practices for member engagement while clubs have seen a drastic change in the way they operate. Below is a high-level overview of some the best and brightest ideas we’ve seen.

Engage Proactively:
Your members might not be able to come to the club, so clubs need to be using every tool they have to provide creative offerings to their members. Your entire membership is looking for new ways to occupy their time. Who better to fill the void than your club?
Communicate Clearly:
Club communication is more important now than ever before. Your members need to know that you exist and are there for them. Have a clear objective with each communication you send.
Nobody joins a club with the intention of leaving, they join for the sense of community and lasting relationships that come with a membership. According to the National Golf Association clubs that have the highest level of engagement are the ones least susceptible to resignations. Make sure your club is doing everything under the sun to be proactive in engaging with and serving your member’s needs during this difficult time.
